Two get life term in abduction-cum-murder case

A Patna court today sentenced two persons to life imprisonment for abduction and murder of a 17-year-old student six years ago.
Additional district judge Om Prakash also imposed a fine of Rs 60,000 on each of the two convicts, while sentencing them.
The court stipulated that in case of their failure to pay the fine, the two convicts - Vishal Kumar and Anand Kumar, would have to serve undergo an additional imprisonment for 10 years.
According to the prosecution, 17-year-old Rohit was kidnapped by Vishal Kumar, a fellow student at a coaching institute, and Anand Kumar on May 1, 2011, for ransom.

Rohit's body was found in a bore well a few days later.
