Two girls killed in road accident in Mathura

Two girl students were killed today near mandi crossing here when a Haryana Roadways bus struck their scooty from behind, police said.
"While 20-year-old Rajlaksmi, a resident of Baba Jai Gurudeo Ashram succumbed to her injuries on the spot, her friend 19-year-old Gunjan, resident of Srinath Puram Colony falling under Krishna Nagar reporting out post died in the hospital during treatment," police said.
The bus was coming from Delhi and proceeding towards Agra.
"Abandoning the bus the driver has fled," SP City Ashok Kumar Singh said, adding that students of B.Com second year, both the girls were going by the same scooty to their home after attending coaching classes.
Police said hunt is on for the bus driver.
