Two groups clash in Vadodara, police opens fire

Two groups pelted each other with stones near Yakutpura area here with police resorting to open fire in order to disburse them.
The clash took place last night in Sarasiya Talav locality when two groups hurled stones at each other over a quarrel arising out of a minor incident, following which police party rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, city police commissioner E Radhakrishnan said today.
Two State Reserve Police (SRP) jawans were injured in the stone pelting after which another SRP jawan had to resort to firing in air, he said, adding that no one was injured in the firing.
