During a special drive, a police party stopped a bus and and found 7.5 kg of poppy from its conductor upon checking in Mandi area here, a police official.
The accused was arrested and the contraband seized. A case has been registered against him at the Pacca Danga police station, he said.
In Manda area, police arrested a man after a brief chase and recovered 1.4 kg of poppy from his possession. A case has been lodged against him, the official said.
