miscreants allegedly attacked two home guards with iron rods at Kalinga Nagar, on the outskirts of Berhampur city here, police said today.
The injured, identified as Bala Krushna Sahu and Niranjan Biswal, were admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
The home guards were on duty when the incident took place on Sunday, they said.
A motorcycle was seized from the spot.
"They were four of them. Raids are being conducted and the culprits will soon be nabbed," Berhampur Superintendent of Police Sarthak Sarangi said.
