Two injured after they were hit by taxi

Two persons were injured apparently after they were hit by a taxi in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar area, police said Friday.

The injured were identified as Awadhesh Tiwari (40) and a 14 year-old girl, they said.

Police said they received a call about the accident at 7.35 am. When rushed to the spot, they learnt a white Wagon R car allegedly hit a motorcycle, injuring the riders.

A case has been registered and the car has been seized, police said, adding efforts are being made to nab the accused person.
