The two were apprehended from a park in Rani Bagh yesterday in connection with dealer Pratap's murder, whom the police was searching since June 30, following a complaint lodged by his mother who also informed that his number is coming switched-off, said N Gnansambandan, DCP, North West district.
Following the complaint police reached to one Randhir, who owed money to Pratap but was informed by the latter's family that he too is missing, he said.
Continuing their investigations police visited Randhir's office and found blood spots and Pratap's motorcycle there which gave them some clue in the case.
During the interrogation, the boy told that he and another participated in Pratap's murder which was plotted by Randhir and threw the body in a gutter, the officer said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and a man hunt to nab absconding Randhir is on, he said.
