The deceased, identified as Naveen Sidhu (30) and Anil Kumar (35), hailing from of Haryana's Sonipat district, and three others were en route Haridwar when the incident took place near Thana Bhawan area of the district yesterday.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital and are said to be in a serious condition.
The truck driver is absconding, police said adding efforts are on to nab him.
