Two killed in bison attack at Similipal

At least two persons were killed and another injured after being attacked by a wild bison which strayed from the Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district, official sources said today.
Nabin Naik (45) Dugda village and Chatur Marandi (55) of Antapur village were killed by the bison yesterday.
A woman who sustained injuruies in the attack was taken to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack, the sources said.
Forest personnel and local people were trying to drive away the bison back into the park, which is habitat to around 200 bison.
