Two killed in lightning strike in Jharkhand

Two persons were killed in lightning strikes in separate places in Jharkhand's Dumka district today, police said.

The incidents happened under the jurisdiction of Shikaripara police station, the police said.

A 25-year-old man was killed in Latbedha village after lightning struck him while he was fishing in a pond, the Officer-in-Charge of the police station, Manoj Kumar Thakur, said.

In another incident, a 55-year-old man was killed in Bhalpahari village while he was grazing cattle, he added.
