A passenger bus of Rajasthan Roadways Depot coming from Jaipur collided with a truck on the national highway in Hindoli police station area today, killing the truck driver and a passenger in the bus, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ramkishan Gujar said.
The truck driver Mohan Lal Dhakar(45), a resident of the Bijoliya village and Basheer Mohammed (48), a passenger in the roadway bus, lost their lives while seven others including two women were injured in the collision, he said.
The passenger bus was carrying 20 people, he said.
A case of negligent driving would be lodged against the bus driver, Gujar said.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families after postmortem, police said, adding that the investigation is on in the matter.
