Two killed, several injured in clash

Two persons were killed and several others injured in a clash between two groups at Varichiyur here today.
Police said the deceased included a man identified as Dharmar (35). The injured have been hospitalised.
Dharmar's relatives blocked road traffic for some time demanding arrest of those responsible for his death.
The reason for the clash was not known immediately. Police said the situation has been brought under control, and added armed police personnel have been posted in the area.
