Two minor brothers among three drowned

Two minor brothers drowned while taking a bath in the Ganga river in Bejkanganj area, police said today.
Kamaal (12) and Akram (10), both rag pickers, were drowned in the river yesterday.
The body of Kamaal has been fished out, while a search is on for the other body, the police said.
In a separate incident, four persons, including three brothers, went to take a bath in a pond in Billaur area following which one of them drowned.
Brothers Tasleem, Arshad, Tauseef and their cousin Shadab were taking a bath when suddenly they slipped into deep waters.
The locals managed to pull out three of them but couldn't rescue Tasleem Ahmad (28).

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and investigations are on, the police said.
