Two minor girls, who went missing from their home in Doda district last month, were traced from Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and handed over to their families, a police official said today.
The parents of the girls, both aged 12, approached police on June 23 and lodged a report stating their daughters had left for school but did not return, a police spokesman said.
He said special teams were constituted and after a hectic search, the girls were traced from Katra. The girls were handed over to their parents after completion of legal formalities, the spokesman said.
