Two minors drown in a pond in Sitamarhi

Two minor boys drowned in a pond at Bahurar village in Bihar's Sitamarhi district today.
The two boys identified as Jitendra Kumar (11) and Anil Kumar (10) had gone to take a bath in the village pond but slipped into deep waters and drowned, Nanpur police station officer-in-charge Lalbabu Prasad said.
The Officer-in-Charge said no FIR was lodged in the case nor post-mortem was conducted on the request of the family members.
