Two officials arrested for accepting bribe

Two officials, including an assistant engineer, were arrested today for allegedly accepting bribe in separate incidents in Rajasthan.
Assistant Engineer Anil Saraswat, posted in Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd's Udaipur office, was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a construction company official for not imposing a penalty on his company for consuming power more than the sanctioned load, IG ACB Smita Srivastava said here.
Meanwhile, Junior Accountant of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Bal Kishan, was held in Udaipur while taking Rs 5,000 as bribe from vendor Hukmichand for allowing him to start courier service at his booth at the bus stand, the ACB official said.
