Cases of accidental death were registered with the Wagle Estate Police Station last evening in connection with the deaths, Thane Police PRO Gajanan Kabdule said in a statement.
One of them, 68-year-old Sriram Vasant Sawant, a resident of Andheri, complained of illness on January 14 and was rushed to the Civil Hospital, where he died on January 16, police said.
The other inmate, Subedha Jani, who also complained of illness, was rushed to the hospital on January 16. The 45-year -old woman died the same day, he said.
