Two persons commit suicide in Kanpur

In two separate incidents, a girl and a salesman committed suicide by hanging themselves here, police said today.
In the first incident, Guddan (17) committed suicide by hanging from a tree outside Dhamna village in Maharajpur area yesterday. She had left her home in the village on the pretext of relieving herself, police said.
According to the girl's father, Chhatrapal, she was under treatment for an illness for a long time and was depressed due to it, police added.
The second incident took place in Darshanpurwa region where Shesh Kumar (38), a salesman working in a private company, hanged himself at his rented house, they said.

He was depressed over his poor financial condition which also caused constant friction with his wife.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said, adding investigation are on in both cases, police said.
