were seriously injured when unknown miscreants fired at them at Balipadara under Buguda area of Odisha's Ganjam district, police said today.
Three motor-cycle borne miscreants fired at least five rounds at the duo in the bus-stand area at Balipadara last evening and fled the spot quickly, Inspector In-Charge of Buguda police station R K Dey said.
The injured persons were identified as Sanjaya Jena and Jagannath Moharana of Balipadara.
While Sanjay was undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here Moharana was referred to SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack as his condition was critical, police said.
