Two persons shot dead in Bihar

Two persons were shot dead by unidentified assailants in a village under Rajpur police station area in Bihar's Buxar district today, a police official said.
The incident took place in Chikraul village as six armed assailants barged into a house and shot dead two persons, identified as Lalan Chaudhary (60) and Uma Chaudhary (45), a trainee IPS Satya Prakash, in-charge of Rajpur police station, said.
Land dispute was said to be the motive behind the murder of the duo, he said. An FIR has been lodged and raids carried out to nab them.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, Prakash said.
