The two inmates - Navin Jha and Mohammad Nasim - were brought to the court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) for production in relation to two old cases, Station House Officer (SHO), Ajay Kumar said.
After production, while they were being taken to the lock up, the two sought permission to go to the toilet where their accomplishes joined them in attacking the escort party.
