Two quarry workers crushed to death under stone

Two workers were killed and another was injured when a big stone fell on them in a quarry near here today, police said.
The incident took place at Donabonda village under Kanchikacherla mandal of Krishna district.
According to police, a group of labourers were working in a private metal quarry this morning when suddenly a big stone fell down in the quarry.
Two workers died on the spot and another was severely injured and immediately shifted to Nandigama Government Hospital.
The deceased were identified as Ruben Babu (26) and Nihal Nishal (25), both hailing from Odisha, said police, adding a case has been registered and investigation was on.
