The accused -- Angrez Singh and Manpreet Singh of Mahesari Sandhwan village -- were arrested, a day after Dera Sacha Sauda followers protested against the inaction of the district police.
The girl is the daughter of a Dera follower.
More than 3,000 Dera Sacha Sauda followers, armed with sticks gathered here amid heavy police presence, had raised slogans against Moga Police yesterday for its alleged inaction in solving the rape case.
They, however, had agreed to suspend their protest after Faridkot SSP Gurmeet Singh Randhawa assured them of arresting the culprits within next 48 hours.
