cases of theft and robbery, including the Rs one crore silver heist at a chemical factory at UPSIDC Industrial area, were today arrested in Masuri area here.
On an information that two would be coming to Masuri area for some work, police laid a trap and nabbed them, police said.
Police also recovered three sliver idols, Rs 2.4 lakh cash and two kg sliver from the two robbers identified as Netarpal and Mintu, both from Meerut.
The duo, police claimed have also admitted their involvement in the robbery at the chemical factory.
On the night of July 26, around 15 persons scaled the factory's wall and after holding security guards hostage at gun-point looted the silver worth Rs one crore.
