Additional District Judge SN Tripathi awarded life sentence to the two accused yesterday and also imposed a fine of Rs 46000 each.
According to the prosecution, Tilak Singh and his brother Mukesh were shot at in March, 2010 by Chob Singh, his brother Deen Dayal and an aide Gangaram over a land dispute in Telia Nagla village.
While Tilak Singh died in the hospital during treatment, Mukesh recovered from his injuries.
After hearing both the parties, the judge held Chob Singh and Gangaram guilty, whereas Deen Dayal was acquitted.
