A Karate trainer of the elder sister poured petrol on the girls and set them ablaze when they were sleeping in their house last night, Superintendent of Police Vinay Kumar said.
The attacker was angry over rejection of his marriage proposal to the elder sister by the family, he said.
The younger among the two died on way to hospital, while the elder sister is battling for her life in a private hospital in Bettiah, the SP said.
