Two college students from Bengaluru were reported missing off the coast of Kottakuppam village bordering Tamil Nadu after they went to bathe in the sea Monday, police said here.
Anshul Girish Awasti (21) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, and Enakshi Walia, also 21, doing B Arch in a university there, had come as tourists Sunday and been staying at Chinna Mudaliarchavady, near here, the police said.
Nothing could be said as of now as a case of missing persons has been registered, a police official told PTI.
A search has begun for the two, he said.
