Two suicides in capital

A teenager and a 23-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in the capital.
15-year-old Laxmi, a seventh class student, committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan on Friday evening in New Seemapuri area, police said.
"No suicide note was recovered and after the medical examination, the girl's body was handed over to the family," said a police official.
In a similar incident in North-East district, a 23-year-old woman allegedly commitetd suicide on Friday night, police said.
The girl lived with her mother, father and two brothers in Karawal Nagar.
"The reason for the extreme step is not known. No suicide note was found from the spot. The body was handed over to the family after medical examination and further investigation in the case is on," said a police official.
