Two women workers found dead in industrial unit

Two women workers, who were relatives, died under mysterious circumstances in an industrial unit at Boisar near here in Maharashtra on Monday, police said.

The duo, Zumli Mavi (45) and her niece Varsodh Mavi (18), was employed at a glass factory, Palghar police PRO Hemant Katkar said.

The two did not come out of the factory for lunch this afternoon and when the supervisor went to check, he found them lying unconscious at their workplace , he said.

They were rushed to a hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, Katkar said.

The deceased originally hailed from Uttar Pradesh, he said, adding further probe was on.
