Two youths drown in separate incidents

Two youths drowned in two separate incidents in Muzaffarnagar district, police said today.
14-year-old Bijender yesterday drowned while taking a bath in the river Ganga in Majlispur Tofir village in Muzaffarnagar district. His body was later recovered from the river, police said.
In another accident, a 16-year-old boy, identified as Monu, drowned in the swirling waters of flooded Hindun river in Dholra village.
He had gone to see the flooded river with his two friends when he slipped into the waters. The body has not been recovered yet, police said.
