Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah of "murdering democracy" in Uttarakhand, Pradesh Congress president Kishore Upadhyay today said party workers will take part in a save democracy yatra to be led by AICC chief Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on May 6.
Congress workers in large numbers will take part in the 'Loktantra Bachao Desh Bachao Yatra' to be led by Sonia Gandhiji and Rahul Gandhiji from Jantar Mantar to PMO on May 6, Upadhyay told reporters here.
Claiming that the yatra will "shake the foundations" of the Narendra Modi government, he said people will never forgive those responsible for evicting an elected government in the state.
