Informing this here today, state Tourism Secretary Shailesh Bagauli said that the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed with nine companies during the 'Atulya Bharat' investors' meet organised by the Union Tourism Ministry at New Delhi during September 21-23.
The MoUs were largely related to Tent City, wellness resorts, yoga, wellness institutes, Tehri lake, a hill resort and the functioning and management of the Dak Bungalows in the state, he said.
Expressing happiness over the interest shown by investors to invest in tourism in the state, Bagauli said a single-window system will ensure ease of doing business in Uttarakhand, adding that the tourism policy of the state was being formulated in association with Yes Bank.
