Pink Panthers, on the other hand, finished their engagements with a tally of 28 points to be out of reckoning for a spot in the knock out rounds to be played in Delhi.
In defense, experienced Jeeva Kumar and Fazel Atrachali stood out for the title holders with three points apiece. The Panthers were all out on three occasions.

Later, Telugu Titans -- seeking a place in the semis -- kept their hopes alive by defeating league toppers Patna Pirates 42-41.
The victory enabled the Titans to boost their points tally to 43 with a must-win game in hand against home side U Mumba.
Meraj Sheykh was the other major contributor with 4 points, including 3 in defence.
For the losers, Pardeep Narwal was the stand-out performer with a tally of 24 points in raids.
