UBHL reports Q4 net loss of Rs 373.73 cr

United Breweries (Holdings) today said its net loss for the fourth quarter has narrowed to Rs 373.73 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2015 on account of lower expenses.
The company had registered a net loss of Rs 3,345.51 crore in the same period in 2013-14.
Total income decreased to Rs 77.54 crore in January-March quarter of 2014-15 from Rs 136.41 crore in the same quarter in 2013-14 fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
Total expenses fell sharply to Rs 541.59 crore in fourth quarter of the last fiscal from Rs 3,834.81 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
For the entire 2014-15 fiscal, the company reported a net profit of Rs 433.98 crore. In 2013-14 fiscal, the company had reported a net loss of Rs 2,023.30 crore.
Total income from operations in 2014-15 decreased to Rs 381.44 crore from Rs 491.76 crore.
