UK Minister of State for Asia& Pacific, Mark Fields meets

UKMinister of State for Asia and the Pacific, Mark Field met Telangana IT and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao here today.

During the meeting, Rao explained the progress Telangana had made in attracting investments, a state government release said.

Rao gave an overview of investment opportunities for British companies in IT, textiles, biotech, aerospace and food processing sectors and also about the various industrial parks coming up in the state, it said.

Rao proposed to the British Minister that Telangana was keen on expanding the T-Bridge initiative (which connects startups being incubated at T-Hub to the US markets) to UK too, it said.

T-Hub is a start-up incubator set up at the initiative of the state government.

Earlier in the day, Mark Field visited the T-Hub and interacted with the startups being incubated there, the release added.
