"We have a capacity to manufacture 50,000 motorbikes at our Kashipur based unit in Uttarakhand annually," UM India CEO Rajiv Mishra told reporters after inaugurating the company's first dealership outlet in Madhya Pradesh here.
"We have a plan to double our production and take it to 1,00,000 by September-October next year," he added.
UM India, an Indian arm of Us-based UM International, has started its sale and delivery in the country this year and presently order for 5,000 motorcycles have been placed with the company, he added.
