The bag, kept near a parked car in the departure zone was not claimed for about an hour this morning, leading to anxiety.
Officials said the bag was found to belong to an Andaman and Nicobar Islands bound passenger, who had taken ill and was later provided medical assistance.
They said suspicion arose as the car was left in the parking lot longer than the stipulated duration, following which the owner was fined.
