Unemployment allowance disbursed in Noida

Out of 490 unemployed registered in the city, around 346 jobless persons were given unemployment allowence of Rs 1000 per month at a programme held at Sector 88 Phool Mandi today.
The rest who could not come were told to get their cheques from the district office.
Samajwadi Party leader Narinder Bhati was the chief guest at the unemployment cheque distribution ceremony.
Upto December 31, 2012 around 490 unemployed apply under the scheme.
The eligibility criteria under the scheme is that unemployed youth's father's income should be less than Rs. 36,000 annually. The applicant should be in the age group of 25 to 40 years. He should be class X pass.
