"Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and Ajay Devgn's "Son of Sardar" will be vying for the Box Office pie this Diwali which falls on November 13.

"It is unfair to ask anybody to change the release date of the film. Everybody loves his film. Yashji would have wished that the other film should have also done well. All films are important... Be it a big budget one or whatever. Films will overlap and it is unfair on our part to ask anyone to change the date (of film)," Shah Rukh told reporters here.

The actor said that ultimately it's a business that matters at the end of day.

"Everyone puts in same amount of hard work and love for their films. After all it is business at the end of day and those who want to change it they do. But it is unfair for us to expect people to change it (release date)," he said.

'Son of Sardar' starring Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla in the lead is the home production of the actor.

'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' has created lot of buzz for reasons like pairing of Katrina and Shah Rukh, besides the movie being the legendary filmmaker's last directorial venture.

Yash Chopra who was supposed to hang up his boots after 'Jab Tak...Passed away on October 21.

Shah Rukh plays an Army officer in the romantic melodrama which revolves around a love triangle featuring Shah Rukh, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Denying rumours that the film was incomplete, Shah Rukh said it was not so. "The film locked by Yashji is ready for release. He had finished editing...The background mix was happening. Only a small portion of the song was left but that is happening," he said, adding the film was entirely made by Yashji. (More)
