Unknown persons booked for desecration of religious place

Police today registered a case against unknown persons for allegedly desecrating a religious place in Narkula Chak village of the district.
People of the village, which falls under Baheri area of the district, held a protest and village head informed the police.
The police reached the spot and pacified the agitating villagers and also got the premises of the building cleaned.
"On the complaint of the pradhan, an FIR has been lodged against unknown persons and the situation in the village is now normal," Superintendent of Police (SP), Brijesh Srivastava, said.
