UP chief secy for ensuring skilled training to youth

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan today directed the officials to ensure training to at least five lakh youth under the UP Skill Development Mission in the current financial year.
The Chief Secretary has asked that portal of UP Skill Development Mission should be reopened for registration and skill training of new candidates and names of unwilling candidates who have registered earlier should be removed, an official statement said.
While chairing the 8th meeting of State Steering Committee under UP Skill Development Mission in Lucknow, Ranjan also directed for cancellation of flexi MoU signed with Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd as the company was not taking due interest in training under this mission, it said.
