"Expressing profound grief over death of army jawan Vedmitra Chaudhary, the CM has announced a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to his family members," an official spokesman said here.
The Chief Minister has directed strict directives to police to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
He also said that such a stern action should be taken, which send a message among anti social elements and create terror among them.
He warned that stern action would be taken against officers failing to check such incidents or showing laxity.
He also directed that immediate FIRs should be lodged in such cases and action be taken against the named accused.
