Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath consoled Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar whose mother Sharada Devi died earlier this month due to a prolonged illness.
After landing at Gwalior this morning, Adityanath went to the residence of Tomar in Murar area.
He paid tributes to the deceased Sharda Devi before returning to the airport amidst tight security, sources said.
On Friday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who was here to address a DRDE meeting, also paid tribute to Tomar's mother.
