UP: DRDA project director among 4 booked for gangrape

Four officials, including a project director of District Rural Development Authority, were today booked for allegedly gangraping a woman in their office at Shamli, a senior official said.
The woman was gangraped by the officials in the office two months ago and had alleged that no case was being registered against the accused.
On the directions of the state women commission, a case has been registered against accused DRDA project director Gyanprakash, assistant engineer Dinesh Kumar and two clerks Rajkumar and Anand, Additional SP V K Mishra said.
Further investigation in the case is on, police said.
