UP government removes Etah SSP

In the wake of reports of irregularities during the Panchayat elections, Uttar Pradesh government today removed SSP of Etah, Surendra Kumar Verma.
The government today posted Superintendent of Police, Railways Moradabad Vaibhav Krishna as the Senior Superintendent of Police Etah, a state Home department spokesperson said.
Verma has been attached to the DGP headquarters, Lucknow, he said.
The State Election Commission, reportedly, had taken serious note of complaints of booth capturing and irregularities during the Panchayat elections in Etah district.
