Police here booked two people in connection with the rape of a minor girl, officials said on Sunday.
One of the accused is the uncle of the victim, they said.
Kotwali police station SHO Ramesh Chandra Sharma on Sunday said on Saturday, a 13-year-old girl was going to her school when she was given lift by her uncle.
Subsequently, her uncle asked her to shift to the motorcycle of his friend, saying he would drop her to the school.
The uncle's friend took the girl to a field and raped her after taking her hostage, police said.
On the complaints of the girl's parents, police booked the uncle's friend for rape, the SHO said, adding that the uncle of the girl had been booked for hatching a conspiracy.
He said both accused were absconding and efforts were on to nab them.
