UP: Three drown in Garra river in Hardoi

Three persons drowned while a fourth went missing today after they slipped into deep water while taking bath in river Garra near Kaharkola village in this district, the police said.
The incident took place when Suraj (18), Prashant (28), Ishu (16) and seven others were taking bath in the river and slipped into deep water, they said.
While the three died, six others managed to swim to safety with the help of locals. One person is still missing, the police said.
The bodies of the three who died, were later fished out by the police with the help of people from the area. A search is on for the missing person, the police said.
