UP: Woman's throat slit by in-laws over dowry

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly murdered today by her in-laws over dowry dispute in Shamli district, police said.
Sarika was asleep in her house when her in-laws murdered her by slitting her throat, they said.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim's brother Anurag, Sarika was murdered by her in-laws when she failed to fulfill their dowry demand of Rs 10 lakh.
A case has been registered against six people including victim's husband Robin, his father Tejbir andarrested mother-in-law Urmila, in connection with the incident.
The body of the victim has been sent for postmortem.
Police is on a lookout for five other accused involved in the murder, they said.
