Upset over mother's death, youth commits suicide

An 18-year-old boy here allegedly committed suicide as he was apparently disturbed over the death of his mother and the second marriage of his father, police said today.
Manish Kumar Meena, a labourer in Lakheri area here, yesterday jumped before a speeding train near Badibhavpura village, SHO (Lakheri police station) Prem Chand Gujjar said.
According to the primary investigation, the boy was disturbed after the death of his mother, who died a few months ago, and subsequently the second marriage of his father. However, no suicide note has been recovered from the site, the SHO said.
Before taking the extreme step, the youth had called his cousin and told him about his intention, the SHO said.

Police have registered a case in the matter and the body was handed over to the boy's family after postmortem, he said.
