Urad, arhar rise on stockists buying

Prices of urad and arhar rose up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on stockists buying supported by rising demand.
Traders said stockists buying supported by rising demand against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to rise in urad and arhar prices.
In the national capital, urad edged up to Rs 4,500-5,000 from previous level of Rs 4,500-4,900, while its dal chilka local, best and dhoya were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,700-5,900, Rs 5,950-6,550 and Rs 6,200-6,600 per quintal respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara variety also moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 4400-4500 and Rs 5950-6150 per quintal respectively.

Following were today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 4,500-5,000, Urad Chilka (local) 5,700-5,900, best 5,950-6,550, Dhoya 6,200-6,600, Moong 6,300-7,600, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,400-7,900, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,600 and best quality 8,100-8,200.
Masoor small 5,100-5,350, bold 5,130-5,400, Dal Masoor local 5,950-6,050, best quality 6,050-6,150, Malka local 5,600-5,900, best 5,800-5,900, Moth 4,900-5,200, Arhar 4,400-4,500, Dal Arhar Dara 5,950-6,150.
Gram 3,250-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 4,050-4,250, best quality 4,150-4,250, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,470, Rajdhani 1,470, Rajmah Chitra 7,200-10,700, Kabli Gram small 4,200-7,000, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800,Peas white 3,000-3,050 and green 3,050-3,150.
